Bombay Sapphire Case Study
The Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition is an annual competition held to recognise excellence among emerging design talent. The aim of the competition is to design a functional martini cocktail glass inspired by the Bombay Sapphire brand. 10 finalists will be short listed and their entries will be made up by master craftsmen at Waterford Crystal before being judged at the Irish Finals.
The overall Irish winner receives a cheque for €1,000 and a 6-month work placement with Waterford Crystal.

Slattery Communications managed the process from the developing partnerships with key influencers such as Waterford Crystal through to the final event.
Campaign mechanics included:
College liaison and judging panel establishment, advance media
relations, profiling of the 10 finalists, management of the final
cut, event management of the competition final and all post event
activity media activity.
